While serving as bridesmaid for her friend Jess, Jenn reconnected with fellow friend and bridesmaid Ariel. At the wedding, Jenn met Ariel’s husband Mike who happened to be one of Warren’s good friends from college. Mike said to Jenn, “you should meet my friend Warren,” and Jenn promptly replied, “no, I’m not interested in dating anyone.” Jenn was focused on other things (as evidenced to the right, donuts) and was hoping to make a move out west that fall.

However, Mike and Ariel didn’t listen (knew better) and told Warren to add Jenn as a Facebook friend… which Jenn happily (begrudgingly) accepted leading to the aforementioned message.

They went on their first date in early July 2019 (at Hot Club lol PVD friends iykyk) and instantly connected with so many common interests like traveling, hiking, love of animals and dedication to public service.

They quickly fell into step and immediately took off on some wild adventures including climbing Mount Katahdin (after only officially dating for one month and Jenn got to hear “you were right” for the first time) and jetting off to Alaska in January 2020.

In February 2020 they started the process for building our first home, March 2020… you all know what happened… August 2020 they rescued and adopted our beloved Aspen and closed on said home.
